Ramsey Family Dashboard

Privacy policy

Effective October 6, 2026

Ramsey Family Dashboard is a personal household application operated by Davis Ramsey. This policy explains how the application and this public information website handle data.

Calendar access is read-only. The app uses authorized calendar information to create a private household display. This website does not display or collect your calendar.

Information the app accesses

When an account owner grants permission, the app uses the Google Calendar API to read events from calendars selected for the dashboard. Event responses can contain titles, start and end times, locations, descriptions, participant details, identifiers, and other event metadata. The dashboard uses event titles, dates, times, locations, and identifiers to prepare the agenda and identify relevant trips.

The requested Google permission is read-only Calendar access (calendar.readonly). The app does not create, edit, or delete events. Authorization tokens allow the local app to refresh its access; it does not receive or store your Google password.

How information is used

Calendar information is used to show household plans, display trip countdowns, and choose relevant artwork from the app’s local background collection. The app also retrieves weather, coastal conditions, tides, and sports schedules from separate sources. Calendar data is not used for advertising, sold, or used by this application to train AI models.

Storage and sharing

Calendar data is processed on the owner’s computer. Authorization tokens and selected calendar settings are stored locally. Derived event details may remain in local dashboard snapshots, generated images, and update logs.

The generated dashboard image is sent over the local network to the household’s Canvia frame. Anyone who can see the frame can see the calendar details shown in that image. Calendar information and authorization tokens are not uploaded to this public website.

The app’s normal operation does not send calendar data to advertisers or data brokers. Google provides the calendar and authorization services; Canvia provides the display device. Their own services are governed by their respective policies. A user who requests troubleshooting may choose to share relevant diagnostic information with support.

Retention and deletion

Local files remain until they are overwritten, removed by the app’s retention routines, or deleted by the owner. Update logs are bounded. The frame’s update process normally retains the current and immediately previous dashboard image for recovery. Other locally saved previews or backups can remain until deleted.

You can revoke access at any time from Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access but does not automatically erase previously generated files or images already on the frame. To remove those copies and local authorization files, contact the operator below or ask the owner to delete them from the computer, backups, and frame.

Protecting information

The app connects to Google over HTTPS. Local files rely on the owner’s computer and account protections; frame transfers use the household’s local network. Access to the computer, backups, network, and physical display should be limited to intended household users.

This public website

This website contains app information and policies. It has no calendar sign-in, forms, advertising, or app-installed analytics. Its hosting and delivery providers may process standard request information, such as IP address, browser information, and requested pages, to deliver and protect the site. Emailing support shares your email address and the contents of your message with the operator for handling your request.

Google API data commitments

Ramsey Family Dashboard’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only for the disclosed household dashboard functions.
